Outreach Ministry

Pastor Ricky and JayCee Cotton have a heart for people and a passion for reaching beyond the walls of the church. Together, they serve as the Outreach Pastors at Stroud Assembly of God, where JayCee also serves as the church secretary.

Ricky and JayCee are raising five children and have opened their home to children throughout the years as the need arises. Their lived experiences have strengthened their heart for families, children, and people walking through difficult seasons of life. They believe ministry often looks like meeting people right where they are loving them, serving them, and reminding them that they have not been forgotten.

 

For the Cottons, outreach is more than an event or a ministry department it is a way of living out the Gospel. Reaching someone who may never walk through the doors of a church, or simply taking the time to let someone know they are seen and loved, their desire is to make Jesus known through both words and actions. Ricky and JayCee believe the Church is called to go to the hurting, the overlooked, the struggling, and the lost and to demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways. At the heart of their family and ministry is one message they hope every person in the Stroud community comes to know: You matter. Your story matters. Every soul matters to God and there is hope in Jesus Christ.
